I used to work in corporate America for 9 years while raising 2 kids, coming home to after school sports, homework, baths and bedtime! I felt like it was time to go to bed and wake up to do it all over again and I had little time to get anything done, especially meal plan, prep and shop!!
I was slowly undoing all the results I worked so hard to achieve by allowing fast food to be our source of ahem “nutrition” for lack of better word. It quickly caught up with me and I realized there had to be a better way!
After years of trial and error, I realized that If I break the steps down throughout the week, I could take 10-30 minutes a day to work on my plan, food shop or order my groceries online (I highly recommend this and I still do it!!) and even meal prep on Sunday’s! That 1-2 hour time block on Sunday’s makes the week so much easier because I can just grab and go without having to think about what I’m going to make and then by the time I figure it out, I lost all motivation to actually make it – ya feel me?
